The birthday app is just one of Socie’s many useful features. If you have the app anyway, you can easily use other modules as well. For example, with your family you can share photos and create albums, all nicely organized and in one place. In your company you can share news, documents and schedules, and in your neighborhood you can display events, photo albums and calendars. Even in your association, you can do all this, while also sending push notifications or setting up a crowdfunding campaign!
This is how you set up your birthdays app:
It’s super simple!
Step 1: First, create a Socie account and then download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Search for “Socie” and you will recognize the correct app by our logo. Click on Download → Open and log in with your account information.
Step 2: Customize the App in the community manager. Log in and then go to modules. Click on Add Module and select the birthdays module and activate it.
Additional feature for you: You can set in the birthdays module how many days before and after the birthday, birthdays will be shown in the app. That way, for large groups, you can choose a slightly shorter period.
Step 3: Then you add the members and can add your own data to the profiles. You can also ask your members for a photo, date of birth, gender, address and any additional information you think is important. Then invite members.
