Personal data is stored in the Socie platform. This data is added by you or the App Manager. The personal data used, and the privacy settings in the app are different for each community. What is personal data?
Personal data is generally a collection of details that indicate proprietary information about an individual or that can be connected to an individual. This data can include your name, telephone number or email address. Personal data are all the details which we can connect to you.
What do we use personal data for?

Personal data is stored in order to share it with other members of the community. Members can view the information and contact each other.

What personal data do we collect?
At minimum, the e-mail address is stored to give a user access to the community. Personal details, such as home or work address and/or any other contact information can be added optionally. An App Manager can add extra fields to a membership which can contain personal data. The App Manager can determine if the field is editable by the user.
Where does the personal data come from?
De App Beheerder kan alle persoonsgegevens in het App Beheer handmatig invoeren of importeren. Het importeren kan de App Beheerder doen door een ledenbestand te uploaden in het App Beheer of via een koppeling met een extern informatie systeem (b.v. via een partner). Bij een koppeling worden de ledengegevens automatisch geïmporteerd. Afhankelijk van de instellingen binnen de App, kan een lid ook zijn eigen gegevens toevoegen.
With whom do we share personal data?
Personal data could be shared in the app depending on the settings in the App Management and the settings of the user. Personal data is exclusively shared with members of the private community. If the community is publicly available, only the name of the individual is shown.
Who can change personal data?
A user can change their own data, depending on the settings in the App Management. The App Manager can’t change personal data if there’s an external information system connected. If technically possible, users can change their personal information via the app, in the external information system. App Managers can change personal data if there’s no external information system connected.
How long is the personal data stored?
The data is stored until the community stops utilizing the app and is removed. Until then, only the App Manager can delete the personal data. Personal data will be removed automatically if there’s a connection with an external information system.
What other data is processed?

We process the data about the user’s device in order to proactively identify and fix issues,  such as crashes or other problems. We also use the data to keep improving the user experience for our users. The device data we store are: Operating System (type and version), Device (type and model) and the current version of the Socie App that’s installed on it.
