There we are again!
I get it that you’re going to scroll straight to the Socie roadmap for 2026, but (catch up, and) then scroll back up again! Because 2025 was another year though for Socie.
This is the 3rd time I get to do this annual review and Socie is really doing mega well! You can read why in our highlights or at our developments. 2025 was the year of the Socie Web-App, the tasks module, and the new community management.
Once again this year, the statistics not lie and yep yep, the greatest wish of our thousands of community administrators will finally come true in 2026.

The community management is finished, we were at an international fair, we did another pen test, unlimited storage for all Plus and Premium customers, we took over Almanapp, tasks for everyone!, Socie Web was delivered, great projects in Healthcare, international success with a German Church, finally content managers, over 6000 communities.

From 47 to 57 million app session & on average, Socie had 192,000 unique users per week.
Member list searches
11.052.000
It was once again all about members in 2025. In 2025, member listings were once again the most popular. There were a whopping 11 million searches of member listings.
Event registrations
440.000
440,000 people signed up for an event through the Socie app in 2025. 100,000 more than last year!
Files downloaded
3.494.000
Also a popular feature in Socie. In 2025, nearly 4 million files downloaded. An increase of 1 million!
87 x easter eggs
Our easter egg was found 87 times this year. Have you found it yet and made a celebration of your day?
The user desire top 5
The more users, the more wishes. We received a huge amount of requests again this year. Our communities are growing and becoming more and more professional we notice. We list the top 5 user wishes here:

- Internal links within Socie
- Not yet governed members show at an event

- Tasks in groups
We take these wishes seriously and see which ones we can develop. Do you also have a wish or idea for Socie? Submit your wish via the community management.
What we made this year:
Of the top 5 wishes from last year, we were able to deliver 3:
- Additional administrator roles and permissions
- Web access
- Be able to post polls in groups
Furthermore, we made the following new features:
No less than 6 app releases and the launch of our completely revamped community management.

Roadmap! This is what we are going to make this year
The Socie roadmap for 2026 is full of great developments. We are already communicating two major developments:
– Socie Chat
Exactly how Socie Chat will work we are exploring, but with Socie Chat we are going to add a completely new dimension to the platform. More and more communities are asking for Socie Chat, so we are over. Socie Chat will be the Socie feature of 2026.
– Community optimization
With so many communities and so many features, sometimes it takes some time to figure out how to use the right components for your community. We are going to support administrators more for better communities.
On to 2027! Did we mention that we are very much looking forward to it!
