March update 2025
New in Community Management: More possible at Events, handy group icons and many new features.
At Socie, we are constantly working on improvements to make community management easier, safer and more efficient. In this update, we once again introduce new features that contribute to a better user experience for community administrators and members. Thanks to our users for submitting their requests. Find out what’s new!
Groups

New icons at groups overview
In groups, new icons have been added around group settings:
1. [oogje] Not visible in the app.
2. [tekstballonnen] Adding messages possible.
3. [draaiende pijltjes] New members are automatically added to this group.
4. [slot] Group is private.
Events
Sending a notification to a group event from community management
Good news. You could already send notifications around events in General calendars. But from now on, Community Administrators can also send notifications around group events in Groups.
Export more data from registrants at an event.
A community administrator now has the ability to export ‘extra fields’ when exporting arrivals or absences. These additional profile fields can be added to member profiles by a community administrator.

General
See the number of members who get a notification when you post new content.
Handy! When creating new content, you can now immediately see how many members are notified of it.
This is not only with news, but with all the things you can track in your notification settings (and added from the admin). So oa: news, documents, albums and poll.

Viewing details of elements (for example, a member)
Want to know when something was created or changed? Now you can! As an administrator, you can now view the details of elements, including creation and modification dates. This applies to:
- Sponsors
- Albums
- Documents
- Collection goals
- Events
- Groups
- Locations
- Members
- Modules
- News
- Accounts
- Polls
Thanks to all the testers!
Thanks again through this way to all the community administrators who provided us with feedback. This has allowed us to improve a lot of things!
